Michael Sun

Michael Sun has extensive experience in the logistics and transportation industry, with a focus on import and export operations. Currently serving at Commercial Metals Company since September 2008, Michael handles ocean export operations and documentation, including letters of credit. Prior roles include working as a Freight Forwarder at Laufer Group International, specializing in ocean import and export pricing, and at SDS Global Logistics, where responsibility included small package shipping and airfreight operations. Earlier in the career, Michael held positions as a Licensed Customs Broker at Fritz Companies and SINOTRANS SHANGHAI, managing airfreight and small package operations. Academically, Michael holds a Master’s degree in International Transportation Management from the State University of New York Maritime College and a postgraduate degree in International Hotel and Tourism from IMI International Management Institute in Switzerland.
