Ronald Strauss

Ronald Strauss has extensive experience in the steel and manufacturing industry, currently serving as the Assistant Rolling Mill Manager at CMC since March 2020, after previously holding roles such as Rolling Mill Area Manager and Process Improvement Engineer. Prior to CMC, Ronald was the Rolling Mill Division Manager at Bayou Steel Group from December 2018 to March 2020, and also worked as a Production Manager at Carpenter Technology Corporation for a brief period in 2018. Ronald's career began at Bayou Steel Group in 2016 as a General Foreman for Mechanical Maintenance, following positions as a Mechanical Engineer in both Rolling Mill and Steelmaking at ArcelorMittal USA. Earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Marine Surveyor at J.M. Dofny Naval Architects. Ronald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, completed in 2014.
