Ruth Kennedy

Ruth Kennedy is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of progressive experience in Accounting, Manufacturing, Operations, and Audit. Currently serving as the Accounting Controller at CMC since 2017, Ruth excels in financial planning and improving P&L performance while implementing corrective actions related to GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Previously at Sherwin-Williams, Ruth held multiple positions including Plant Controller, where significant achievements included a notable increase in plant capacity and successful completion of Six Sigma projects. Ruth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Baldwin Wallace University and an MBA from Georgia State University, and is recognized as a Six Sigma Champion.
