Shellie Smith

Shellie Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT vendor management and operations. Currently serving as Sr. Category Manager for IT and Corporate Indirect at Commercial Metals Company since July 2012, Shellie previously held various leadership roles at Nortel from 1988 to March 2012, including Director of IT Vendor Management, where responsibilities encompassed managing over $160M in annual spend across more than 250 vendors. Additional roles at Nortel involved governance of outsourcing agreements, overseeing IT infrastructure performance, and managing eBusiness initiatives. Shellie holds an MBA from Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and a BS in Computer Science from Texas Woman's University.
