Steve Sakai

Steve Sakai has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Steve began their career at Scott Paper Company in 1976, where they served as Vice President and General Manager for twenty years. Subsequently, they held various roles at Appleton Coated LLC, including Director of Marketing and Executive Director of Sales and Marketing. Sakai then moved to Appleton, where they served as Vice President and General Manager of Thermal Papers, Vice President of New Business Development, and Vice President and General Manager of Packaging. In 2006, they became the President of CMD, a position they held until 2018. Currently, Sakai serves as a Member of the Board at CMD Corporation, where their achievements include being named one of "The Best Places to Work in the Plastics Industry" for four consecutive years and receiving recognition as the "2017 State Exporter of the Year" by the Governor of Wisconsin.

Steve Sakai attended the University of Washington from 1971 to 1975, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued higher education at the University of Puget Sound from 1981 to 1982, earning a Master's degree in Finance through their MBA program.
