John J. Hess

Mr. Hess has over 45 years of experience in civil/municipal engineering. He has represented various municipalities throughout New Jersey and has been responsible for the planning, design and project management of various Public Works projects and site development projects in central and southern New Jersey. He has also provided expert testimony before municipal courts and the Superior Court in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Mr. Hess has served as the Municipal Engineer, Planning Board Engineer, Zoning Board Engineer, Water/Sewer Utility Engineer and Special Projects Engineer for various municipalities and has been responsible for the design of numerous capital improvement projects. He has also been responsible for the preparation of grant applications for various roadway, sanitary sewer and water projects. In addition, Mr. Hess has been responsible for the preparation of various planning documents including Master Plans, Master Plan Reexamination Reports and Affordable Housing/Fair Share Plans. He has also been responsible for performing studies to determine if a particular property is "In Need of Redevelopment" and has prepared Redevelopment Plans for these properties.

Mr. Hess holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is a Professional Engineer, Professional Planner and Certified Municipal Engineer in the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Hess manages the CME Associates office in Barnegat Township. In addition, he and his wife Patricia have resided in Barnegat Township since 1981.
