John J. Stefani

Mr. Stefani is a founding Partner of CME Associates. He serves as the Administrative Partner and Director of the Howell office.

Since he began his career as a Design Engineer in 1972, John's expertise has been instrumental in the growth of CME Associates. What started out as a company of just a handful of employees and one office has become an organization with over 160 employees in five offices. Mr. Stefani has provided tremendous leadership and direction to the Howell office team.

Mr. Stefani is experienced in large-scale development projects and he provides expert testimony in planning and zoning for these projects. He has also been involved with park and recreation design, construction administration and capital projects for municipalities and all phases of civil engineering, land surveying and planning projects. He also provides forensic engineering services to many clients.

Mr. Stefani has led many notable projects, including: Toll Brothers @ Monroe, which has 1,500 single-family retirement units, a 9-hole golf course, and a 50,000 s,f. clubhouse facility, as well as Barnes and Noble warehouse in Monroe, a one million s.f. facility.

Mr. Stefani has provided professional engineering services to the following municipalities: Howell Township, Jackson Township, Stafford Township, Point Pleasant Borough, Mount Holly Township, Brick Township, Lakewood Township MUA, Freehold Township, and Milltown Ford Avenue Redevelopment Agency.

John holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Newark College of Engineering. A New Jersey certified Professional Engineer and Land Surveyor, Professional Planner and Certified Municipal Engineer, John is an active member of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors, as well as the New Jersey Society of Municipal Engineers.

John is a charter and active member of the Optimist Club of Howell, and a member of the Millstone Elks. He is an avid golfer, and enjoys fishing. John is also proud to be an Eagle Scout.
