Mr. Ploskonka began his career with CME Associates in 1983 as a Junior Construction Technician and has steadily advanced within the firm since that time. Promoted to Principal in 2008, Mr. Ploskonka serves as a Municipal Department Head and manages a team of client managers and engineers that provide municipal and consulting engineering services to 10 municipalities and counties.
In his 30 years with the firm, Mr. Ploskonka has been engaged in all facets of civil engineering design and construction management services including capital transportation, water system, sewerage system, parks and recreation projects; traffic analyses; site plan and subdivision review and the provision of professional engineering services to various Planning and Zoning Boards making him uniquely qualified for his position. Most recently, he provided the municipal engineering services associated with the redevelopment of a 170+/- acre tract in the Township of Plainsboro which established the Princeton Healthcare Services campus on a former industrial site. Mr. Ploskonka was instrumental in the review of the site and subdivision plans for the 231 bed hospital, a skilled nursing facility, medical office building, cogeneration facility, fitness center, and a 30 acre public park; the development of a regional traffic mitigation plan; construction oversight of the site improvements as well as the engineering services associated with the development of an amendment to the redevelopment plan for the remainder parcels in the redevelopment area.
Mr. Ploskonka earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1985 and has been a Licensed Professional Engineer since 1997. He is also a Certified Municipal Engineer and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
