Alyssa Figueroa has a wealth of professional experience in the legal field. Alyssa began their career in 2008 as a Legal Assistant at Milberg LLP, where they maintained court filings and document production for antitrust and securities cases. In 2011, they joined Wilson Elser as a Legal Assistant, managing an extensive toxic tort caseload for ten clients. In 2013, Alyssa began working as a Legal Intern at Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), drafting loan documents and grant agreements for community development corporations. That same year, they also began interning for the Hon. Ellen Gesmer at the New York Supreme Court Matrimonial Part, where they drafted pendente lite orders, orders to show cause, and orders appointing attorneys and forensic evaluators. Alyssa also worked as a Chief Research Assistant for Professor Marci A. Hamilton, researching and summarizing supporting case law in child sex abuse and religious land use cases. From 2014 to 2021, Alyssa held various roles at CLEAR (clearme.com) and CMG (Capital Markets Gateway). At CLEAR, they served as Corporate Counsel and Law Clerk, and at CMG, they served as Senior Corporate Counsel. In these roles, Alyssa reviewed, drafted, and negotiated a variety of commercial and technology agreements, advised business teams on privacy and data security, and handled the oversight and execution of all company-related legal matters.

Alyssa Figueroa received their Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law in 2015. Prior to that, they earned their BA in Psychology from Cornell University in 2010.
