Candace Giesbrecht

Candace Giesbrecht, CPHR, ACC, currently serves as the Director of People, Culture & Engagement at CMHA Kelowna and is a Senior Consultant at SVP Consulting. Candace is also a Founding Member of Hacking HR's Experts Council and a Strategic HR Coach & Consultant with Better Your Best Business Performance Specialists. Previous roles include Director of Talent Strategies and Director of Remote Performance Academy at Teamit Inc., Workplace Consultant at Ounce of Prevention Solutions Inc., and Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia. Candace has extensive experience in human resources management, focusing on recruitment, training, and culture management. Education includes a BSW from the University of Victoria, a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from Royal Roads University, and ongoing studies towards an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies at Athabasca University.
