Bill Rowland has a diverse work experience in the field of search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing. Bill has held various roles in different companies and organizations.
Starting from 2023, Bill serves as the Vice President of SEO at CMI Media Group. Prior to that, they worked as an SEO Manager at Printfly Corporation from 2021 to 2023, where they planned and executed SEO initiatives for the company.
From 2020 to 2022, Bill worked as a Senior SEO Strategist at BrainDo. Bill was also an Instructor of Search Engine Optimization at The University of Vermont Continuing and Distance Education from 2015.
In their role as the SEO Director at Trinity from 2015 to 2019, Bill led the SEO team and partnered with clients to improve the performance of their e-commerce websites.
From 2010 to 2015, Bill worked as an SEO Manager at eBay Enterprise Marketing Solutions (formerly e-Dialog), where they focused on improving the performance of e-commerce websites for larger companies.
Bill has also demonstrated their expertise in SEO through their role as an Organizer of SEO Grail Philadelphia, where they organized regular meetups focusing on SEO and online marketing. Additionally, they served as an Event Organizer at PodCamp Philly, a social media event.
Prior to their digital marketing career, Bill volunteered as a Treasurer and Chairman for the South Jersey Chapter of The Surfrider Foundation, working to protect the environment.

Bill Rowland has earned an MBA in Marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Prior to that, they obtained a BS in Business Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Additionally, they hold certifications in Technical SEO from Moz and Goal Setting: Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) from LinkedIn. Bill also obtained a Conductor Searchlight Certification from Conductor in 2013.
