Ruth Hughes is the founder and CEO of CMMS Data Group. Ruth has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and software industries. Ruth started their career as an MP2 CMMS Software Application Engineer with Datastream in 1998. In this role, they were responsible for demonstrating the software to top-level executives, determining product fit for new customers, and training and consulting customers on the use of the software.

In 1997, Ruth became a Project Manager with BLAZER INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION. In this role, they oversaw, coordinated, tracked, and streamlined the prototype part tools and raw materials procurement process. Ruth also initiated and co-chaired the Product Team, a concurrent engineering team that identified and eliminated inefficiencies resulting in increased internal and external customer satisfaction.

Ruth’s experience in both engineering and project management has given their the skills and knowledge necessary to be a successful CEO of CMMS Data Group. Under their leadership, CMMS Data Group has become a leading provider of engineering data solutions.

Ruth Hughes has a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing & Operations Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Ruth also has a certification in Spanish Fluency from Duolingo.
