Tumelo Chaka

Tumelo Chaka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in media strategy, consumer behavior, and partnership development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Executive for Media, Strategy & Consumer Behaviour at The Strategists, Tumelo focuses on building global strategies for emerging markets and fostering media synergy for clients in Africa. In addition, Tumelo holds several advisory and faculty roles, including GIBS Adjunct Faculty, Gautrain Management Agency Knowledge Management Advisory Panel, and Board Member of the Africa Advisory Board at CMO Council. A strong background in commercialization and strategic growth was evident during tenure at FNB South Africa and Nedbank. Tumelo holds a PhD in Business Science and Consumer Behaviour from the University of Cape Town, an MBA from GIBS Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of the Free State.
