Edward Burton

Edward Burton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Edward is currently employed at CMR Surgical as a Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead, a position they started in December 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Test Engineer at the same company from March 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining CMR Surgical, Edward worked as an Integration Engineer at Fujifilm Speciality Ink Systems Ltd from July 2019 to March 2021.

Edward also held various positions at Xaar from October 2012 to June 2019, including Senior Engineer and Inkjet Performance Engineer. As an Inkjet Performance Engineer, Edward was responsible for developing new product performance and waveform improvement, specializing in waveform development.

Prior to Xaar, Edward worked as a Process Engineer at CAMBRIDGE DISPLAY TECHNOLOGY LIMITED from June 2009 to October 2012, and as a Technical Assistant from April 2007 to June 2009.

Edward's professional journey began at Ricardo, where they worked as an Engineering Assistant in 2006.

Edward Burton attended Sharnbrook Sixth Form from 2001 to 2003. Edward then went on to study Physics at Imperial College London from 2003 to 2006, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
