John Lancaster BEM, Qcm has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. John started their career in 1989 at De La Rue, where they served as the Russian Business Development Director and successfully introduced an ATM and FTPOS network. John then joined Securicor Datatrak as the Head of Business Development, where they expanded their LF tracking network into a two-way data service.
In 1996, Lancaster joined Stanley Security Solutions as the Vice President of International Development, where they significantly grew the North American Value Added Distribution Reseller market. John later moved to Orbis Monitoring Plc as the Business Development Director, leading the design, implementation, and sale of cutting-edge security technology.
Lancaster's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Actiontrack Services Limited, a pioneer in lone worker protection systems, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer. John sold the business in 2005 and went onto become the International Business Development Director at Minorplanet, focusing on telematics and vehicle tracking systems.
From 2008 to 2009, Lancaster held the position of Business Development Director at First Ondemand, where they spearheaded the development of an award-winning enterprise software platform. John then joined FMG Support Ltd as the Head of Technological Development, overseeing the design and implementation of the UK's first true Driver Behaviour Management system.
In 2009, Lancaster became the Chief Executive Officer of TRACE Ltd, an outsource provider of network independent tracking and security services. Currently, they serve as the Business Development Director at CMS SupaTrak, where they drive the business forward in terms of international expansion and innovative technological development.
Throughout their career, Lancaster has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead and develop successful ventures, leveraging their expertise in technology, security, and business development.
John Lancaster BEM, Qcm began their education in 1957 at West Bridgford Grammer School, where they completed their secondary education. It is not specified whether they obtained a degree or pursued a field of study during this time. John then went on to attend the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst from 1961 to 1989, where they earned a BA Hons degree in Business Administration and Communications.
