Alistair Matthewson

Alistair Matthewson has extensive work experience in the payments industry. Alistair currently works at CMSPI as the SVP of Global Consulting. In this role, they manage strategic merchant accounts, providing insights and strategies to top-tier merchants globally. Prior to this, Alistair worked as the SVP of Consultancy & Project Delivery (North America) and the VP, Head of Consultancy North America at CMSPI. In these positions, they were responsible for managing strategic accounts in North America and beyond, delivering detailed insights and payments strategies.

Before joining CMSPI, Alistair worked at Sequence Financial Management as a Financial Administrator. Alistair started their career at CMSPI as a Payments Analyst, conducting market research in the payments industry and analyzing payment costs for multinational merchants. Alistair then progressed to the role of Senior Payments Analyst, leading analysis on projects and maintaining the client base in North America through data analytics. Finally, they served as the Head of Technical Consultancy, overseeing project delivery for major multinational merchants in the US and Europe.

Alistair Matthewson attended Wilmslow High School from 2004 to 2011. Following their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at The University of Sheffield from 2011 to 2014.
