Senior Data Scientist at CMSPI

Daniel Savu has a diverse work experience in data science and technology. In their most recent role as a Senior Data Scientist at CMSPI, they developed a benchmarking solution using the inTrees method in Pyspark. Daniel also managed the machine learning model life-cycle and collaborated on creating automated solutions for big data problems. Prior to that, Daniel worked as a Data Scientist at The Hut Group where they designed an efficient allocation algorithm and established a real-time metrics database. Daniel also gained practical experience during an internship at CONPET S.A., where they assisted with network maintenance and monitoring.

From 2012 to 2016, Daniel attended National College "Ion Luca Caragiale" in Ploiesti, Romania, where they received a Baccalaureate Diploma in Computer Science Honorary Class.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel also obtained several certifications. In October 2015, they obtained the "Information Technology Essentials" certification from Cisco. In September 2015, they received the "Linux Basic" certification from Academia Credis. In June 2014, they obtained the "Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching: Routing and Switching Essentials" certification from Cisco. Finally, in March 2014, they acquired the "Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching: Introduction to Networks" certification from Cisco.
