Drew Brown is a Project Manager and Energy Engineer at CMTA, Inc. since June 2022, with a strong background in energy research and sustainability initiatives. Previously, Drew served as an Undergraduate Researcher at Penn State University, focusing on NIR-glancing materials to enhance building efficiency, and held the position of Vice President in the Penn State Society of Energy Engineers. Drew's experience includes participation in The GREEN Program in Iceland, where exploration of renewable energy innovations took place, as well as an internship with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, ensuring construction materials met state specifications. Drew has a track record as a Sustainability Ambassador for Penn State THON™ and has competed in the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar District Cup. Additionally, Drew has entrepreneurial experience as the owner of a yard care business and has worked in various roles at Hampden Township Parks and Recreation. Drew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Engineering/Environmental Systems Engineering from Penn State University and participated in a renewable energy study abroad program at Reykjavik University.
