Jason Volz

Jason Volz, P.E. is a Partner at CMTA, Inc. since February 2015, leading the CMTA Energy Solutions division which focuses on Guaranteed Energy Savings through Performance Contracting and Energy Audits, targeting institutions such as schools and hospitals for funding building improvements. Previously, Jason served as an Energy Engineer at Harshaw Trane from January 2012 to February 2015, where responsibilities included developing energy savings performance contract projects for K-12 schools and local government markets. Earlier, Jason held a similar position at Harshaw Trane from June 2008 to December 2011, assisting with HVAC design issues. Jason began a career in engineering as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at CMTA, Inc. from January 2005 to August 2006, supporting HVAC and plumbing system designs. Jason holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisville, earned from 2003 to 2008.
