KaJun Cheng

Kajun Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. KaJun started their career as a Systems Administrator at Blue Shift in 2000. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as a Programmer Analyst I at UCSD School of Medicine. At TARGUSinfo, they held multiple roles including Development Support Engineer, Software Engineer, and Process Engineer between 2005 and 2010. Their responsibilities involved writing utility tools, supporting clients, and automating processes to save time and costs. KaJun then joined Tapestry Solutions in 2011 where they worked as a Software Engineer and Team Lead on Java and Linux projects. KaJun contributed to an enterprise web application and served as a team lead for an enterprise network manager. In 2014, they joined Scientific Research Corporation as a Software Engineer III, where they provided integration, testing, and scripting support for a command and control system used by the U.S. Navy. Most recently, they worked as a Product Developer at ComplianceMetrix since 2017.

KaJun Cheng obtained an A.S. in Computer & Information Science from the College of San Mateo in the year 2000. From 2001 to 2004, KaJun attended UC San Diego and earned a B.S. in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, KaJun obtained the Red Hat Certified System Administrator from Red Hat in December 2014, the Sun Certified Java Programmer from Sun Microsystems in December 2008, the Security+ from CompTIA in May 2014, and the Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in June 2014.
