Shaelynn Hales

Shaelynn Hales has had work experience at two companies. From 1998 to 2003, they were a Lead Bookseller at Barnes & Noble. Beginning in 2003, they joined CNA Corporation, where they held multiple roles. Shaelynn started as an Associate Research Analyst on the Air Traffic Management Team, providing analytical support to clients such as the FAA and Department of Homeland Security. In 2007, they became a Research Analyst/Program Manager, overseeing the implementation of a quality management system. From 2010 to 2016, they served as an Associate Director in the Enterprise Systems and Data Analysis Division, applying project management best practices and contributing to division strategic planning. Finally, they became the Managing Director of the Enterprise Systems and Data Analysis Division in December 2016.

Shaelynn Hales has a solid educational background with a focus on industrial management engineering. Shaelynn obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Management Engineering, with a concentration in management, from the same institution in 2001. Prior to their college education, they completed their high school studies at Ravena Coeymans Selkirk HS from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Shaelynn obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in September 2010.
