Ed Crotty

Ed Crotty is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in developing and managing large-scale data systems. At CNA Insurance since 2001, Ed has served as a Senior Data Engineer and Lead Developer on a 20 TB data warehouse, overseeing weekly refresh cycles and managing over 1,000 batch jobs weekly. Prior to CNA Insurance, Ed held managerial and technical roles at Whittman-Hart and BALR, where responsibilities included consultant administration and developing client relationships. Ed's career began at Price Waterhouse as a Senior Consultant, focusing on application development for medical and bankruptcy claims, utilizing SQL*plus and SQR for extensive reporting and data manipulation. Ed holds an MBA in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago.
