Katie Heupel

Katie Heupel is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in application development and strategic technology initiatives. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology Strategic Initiatives at CNA Insurance since June 2014, Katie oversees an $8 million project portfolio while collaborating on larger initiatives worth $10-20 million annually. Previously, Katie held the position of Senior Manager in Management Consulting - Strategy at Accenture, focusing on IT strategy and portfolio management. Earlier roles include application development and management at Grant Thornton, LLP, and a programmer analyst position at Country Insurance and Financial Services. Katie holds an MBA in Technology Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the Kellogg School of Management, along with a Graduate Certificate in Technology Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University.
