Paul Walsen

Paul Walsen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in claims and litigation. Currently serving as Senior Claims Counsel at CNA Insurance since October 2022, Paul Walsen formulates and executes strategies for resolving high-severity D&O and E&O claims for public companies and financial institutions. Prior to this role, Paul Walsen was a Partner at K&L Gates from January 2002 to October 2022, where responsibilities included defending clients in complex litigation and conducting internal investigations across various sectors. Paul Walsen began their legal career as an Associate at Bell, Boyd & Lloyd, which later merged with K&L Gates. Additionally, Paul Walsen worked as a Senior Consultant at Accenture early in the career, focusing on the automotive, financial services, and retail industries. Paul Walsen holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as an MBA in Finance and a BA in Economics from the same institution.
