James Schiefferle

James Schiefferle, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. James currently serves as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at CNA National, where they oversee financial planning and analysis functions. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Finance and Accounting at W.W.Williams and as the Managing Director at Kona Business Solutions, LLC.

James has also held various roles at Cardinal Health, including Director of Corporate Finance on an interim contract basis. At The Ohio State University, they served as the Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, leading teams responsible for financial planning and analysis and management reporting. During their tenure, they implemented significant improvements to the annual budget process and developed a robust long-term planning model.

In their previous roles, James held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting Operations at Syneos Health Communications, where they were responsible for financial reporting, accounting, financial planning and analysis, billing, AP, and cash management. At Scotts Miracle-Gro, they served as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for the Global Consumer Products division and Vice President of Finance for Scotts Lawn Service. James also held the role of Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, overseeing due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation on acquisition targets.

James began their career at Limited Brands as a Manager of Store Operations Finance and Financial Reporting. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. James holds an MBA and has a proven track record of driving financial efficiencies and delivering results.

James Schiefferle, MBA, completed their Bachelor of Science in Finance at Penn State University. Following this, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at The Ohio State University.
