Alex Kantrowitz

Alex Kantrowitz is the founder of Big Technology, an independent newsletter and podcast launched in June 2020 that focuses on major tech stories involving companies like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Microsoft. As an on-air contributor for CNBC since July 2020, Kantrowitz has made over 100 appearances discussing technology giants and relevant reporting. Previous roles include senior technology reporter at BuzzFeed, where impactful stories on Facebook and Twitter were published, staff reporter at Advertising Age, where three cover stories were authored, and a freelance contributor for Forbes. Additional experience encompasses sales development at Operative, marketing management at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and campaign management for political candidates. Alex holds a B.A. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and has studied Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University.
