Ester Bloom is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in various media roles. Currently serving as Deputy Managing Editor at CNBC Make It since October 2016, Ester has also held senior editorial positions at Grow, CNBC + Acorns, and The Billfold. Additional contributions to The Atlantic as a contributing writer and freelance work from 2005 to 2016, including serving as the advice columnist "Aunt Acid,” further showcase Ester's diverse writing ability. Previous roles include Managing Institutional Development and Communications at the Foundation for Jewish Culture, where strategic communication and grant writing were key responsibilities, and founding Editor at Unigo, LLC, where team management and creative project development were pivotal. Ester began the editorial career as an Editorial Assistant at Bedford/St. Martin's, following a BA with Honors in American History and Film from Swarthmore College.
