Vinay Dwivedi

Vinay Dwivedi is an experienced journalist and editor currently serving as the APAC News Editor and APAC Digital Editor at CNBC since November 2023, leading editorial production for the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this role, Vinay worked as a Desk Editor at Thomson Reuters from August 2019 to November 2023, where responsibilities included publishing real-time business stories and mentoring reporters. Vinay's earlier experience includes positions at The Economic Times as Assistant News Editor and Chief Copy Editor, where extensive work on personal finance features and startup profiles was undertaken. Additional roles were held at BW Businessworld as a Senior Subeditor and at CBS Interactive in marketing, along with initial reporting and feature writing at Hindustan Times. Vinay holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Contemporary Political Theory from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Lucknow.
