Jeremy Rickard

Jeremy Rickard is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the cloud native ecosystem. Currently serving on the Technical Oversight Committee at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) since March 2025, Jeremy previously held positions at Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where the focus was on securing the software supply chain and developing open source tooling for Kubernetes. Jeremy also contributed as a Software Engineer at Apple and as a Staff Engineer at VMware, working on the VMware Developer Platform and contributing to upstream Kubernetes initiatives. Jeremy holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
