Subhasmita Swain currently serves as a Kubernetes Release v1.35 Shadow at the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) since September 2025. Previous roles include Research and Development Engineer and Site Reliability Engineer at Civo from September 2022 to October 2025, and Cluster API 1.7 Release Shadow for Kubernetes from December 2023 to March 2024. Swain completed an internship at The Linux Foundation, where contributions included GPU-enabled cluster creation and custom OS image development for high-performance workloads. Additional internship experience includes enhancing the Camel-K integration framework at Outreachy and optimizing machine learning techniques at 24/7Infowiz Tech. Swain holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Sharda University.
