Tracy Hartzler is the current President at Central New Mexico Community College. Tracy has extensive experience working in government, having served as Principal Fiscal Analyst, Higher Education at the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee, Special Assistant Attorney General at the New Mexico Interstate Stream Commission, and Counsel, Indian Affairs at the office of U.S. Senator Harry Reid. In their role as President, they are responsible for the overall management and operation of the college.
Tracy Hartzler received their Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, their Master of Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Virginia Curry School of Education, and their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Saint Mary's College, Notre Dame, Indiana.
