Founded in early 2025 and based in Bergen, CNMA Teklab is part R&D lab and part creative
studio that aims to bring filmmakers and creative technologists together in the creation of
cinema and cinematic culture through emerging technology and innovative workflows.
Vision/Mission: To transform independent films into lasting cultural experiences by empowering
filmmakers with emerging technology and our Audience Experience Design framework to craft
immersive, purposeful experiences that amplify a film’s cultural impact.
Seizing on the current moment of disruption and opportunities from generative AI, CNMA Teklab
helps guide filmmakers through a human-centered and creative-led use of AI tools to
supercharge cinematic storytelling.
