CNN Chile
Karin Messenger is an experienced journalist and editor currently working at CNN Chile since May 2021, focusing on political programs and serving as an editor for the Área Futuro, including Minería 360 and UPS. In addition, Karin has been an editor for Breves de Energía since 2018, addressing national and international energy and environmental issues related to climate change. Previously, Karin served as a communication advisor at the Consejo Nacional de la Infancia from August 2015 to April 2018, developing strategies to enhance the visibility of children's rights. Karin's extensive background includes working as a journalist at Canal 13 SPA, where significant contributions to historical documentaries and political programming were made, and as a sub-editor at TVN from March 1992 to May 2011, overseeing various programs and special events. Karin holds a degree in Journalism from Universidad de Chile and has pursued further studies in audiovisual production and strategic communication at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

CNN Chile began its broadcasts in December 2008, being the first Chilean news channel to broadcast 24 hours a day, as well as being the first local CNN signal in all of South America.
