Avinash Kaul

Avinash Kaul is the current CEO of Network18 Broadcast News at CNN-News18. Prior to this, they were the CEO of TV Division at Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) from August 2010 to May 2014. Avinash has also served as the CEO of Sahara One Entertainment & Media Limited from February 2010 to August 2010.

Kaul started their career with NDTV Media in September 2002 as the Executive Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for the entire business operations of NDTV Ltd channels and also headed the marketing department. Avinash left NDTV in February 2010 to join Sahara One Entertainment & Media Limited as the CEO.

After a stint of less than a year at Sahara One, Kaul joined Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) as the CEO of TV Division in August 2010. Avinash held this position for over 3 years before moving on to their current role as the CEO of Network18 Broadcast News at CNN-News18.

Avinash Kaul has an MBA in marketing from the University of Mumbai and a BE in mechanical engineering from the Savitribai Phule Pune University. Avinash also attended the Tyndale Biscoe school.

Their manager is Rahul Joshi, Managing Director. They are on a team with Amish Devgan - Managing Editor, Karthik Subbaraman - Managing Editor, Digital News, and Anuj Gandhi - Group CEO of IndiaCast.
