Andrew McCabe

Andrew McCabe is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and academia. Currently serving as a Distinguished Visiting Professor at George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government since January 2021 and as a Senior Law Enforcement Analyst for CNN since July 2019, McCabe has built a notable career in public service. Previously, McCabe held the position of Deputy Director at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) from July 1996 to March 2018, managing a workforce of 36,000 professionals and overseeing a budget exceeding $9 billion during the final two years of a 21-year tenure. McCabe earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Duke University.
