Andrew Seger

Andrew Seger is an experienced producer and writer currently working at CNN since July 2019, where responsibilities include collaborating with anchor Phil Mattingly on interview research, producing segments, and managing election coverage. Prior roles at CNN encompassed work as an anchor producer and writer/producer for the "New Day" and "Early Start" programs, highlighting investigative research and comprehensive segment production. Seger's journey includes a variety of internships and positions at notable organizations such as WFUV Public Radio, where news stories were produced and newscasts anchored, and roles at the Council on Foreign Relations and the Center for International Humanitarian Cooperation. A Fordham University graduate, Andrew Seger holds a degree in International Political Economy and Philosophy.
