Caitlin Hu

Caitlin Hu is currently the Director of News/Reporting at CNN International. They previously served as a Senior Editor at CNN from 2019 to 2024 and held editorial positions at Quartz and COLORS magazine from 2015 to 2019 and 2011 to 2015, respectively. Caitlin also contributed as an editor for ARSS Journal and Editions Vrin between 2010 and 2012. They began their career as a researcher for the Department of Political Science at Wellesley, supporting the publication of "Princeton Readings in Islamist Thought." Caitlin earned a BA in International Relations with a Minor in Middle Eastern Studies from Wellesley College, where they studied from 2003 to 2007.
