Deidre McPhillips

Deidre McPhillips serves as the Health Data Editor at CNN since November 2020, bringing in-depth expertise in data journalism from previous roles at U.S. News & World Report, where responsibilities included both Data Editor and Data Reporter from August 2015 to November 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Business Analyst and Project Manager at JPMorgan Chase from August 2011 to May 2014. Deidre holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland, obtained between 2014 and 2015, and a Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University, completed in 2011, with a study period at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2009.
