James Benedict

James Benedict has extensive experience in business development and strategic management within the entertainment industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President for both Streaming and Business Development & Commercial Strategy at CNN from February 2024 to June 2025, James previously held prominent roles at Warner Bros. Discovery and Warner Bros. Entertainment, focusing on the Harry Potter franchise, where responsibilities included driving commercial growth and executing business development opportunities. Additional experience includes positions at Citi in Global Media Investment Banking and BBC Worldwide, where James developed growth plans for major global brands. James holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Union College.
