Kate Carroll

Kate Carroll is a researcher at CNN FactCheck, where responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of various media content and facilitating communication among editorial teams. Previous experience includes serving as a partnerships intern at Daymaker, aiding non-profit partners with content development, and holding roles as a senior and staff writer at The Daily Tar Heel, covering university-related stories. Kate has also contributed to the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity as a mental health co-chair, developing mental health programming, and participated as a fundraising committee member. Earlier roles include editorial intern at Engaged Media, LLC, and student consultant for TED's Far Flung podcast.
