Katrina Samaan

Katrina Samaan serves as an Anchor Producer for Chief National Security Analyst Jim Sciutto at CNN since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a News Associate with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and as an Office of Public Affairs Intern at the University of Virginia. Additionally, Katrina contributed as a Writer for The Cavalier Daily and worked as a Social Media & Content Intern at Hands Along The Nile Development Services. Experience also includes serving as Content Manager for the Egyptian Relief Association and as a Defense Attorney Assistant at Fairfax County General District Court. Katrina holds a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from the University of Virginia, completed in May 2023.
