Mark M. O'Mara is the owner of O'Mara Law Group, a private law practice established in January 1986, specializing in criminal defense and assisting individuals through challenging legal situations. As a legal and motivational public speaker, Mark has shared insights into race and injustice in America at renowned institutions, including Harvard Law School and the National Trial Lawyers Summit. Since 2013, Mark has served as a legal analyst for CNN, focusing on issues related to race, guns, and self-defense within the American criminal justice system. Mark holds a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
