Tess Orrick

Tess Orrick is an experienced journalist and writer currently serving as a Writer & Copy Editor at CNN since September 2023, producing daily breaking news programs for both US and international audiences. Previously, Tess worked as a Journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation from September 2022 to March 2023, producing segments for national radio. Other roles include Research Assistant at the Judith Neilson Institute, Producer at the Special Broadcasting Service Australia, Reporter at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and Writer and Copy Editor at CNN. Tess has also held senior production positions at CBS Interactive and the Australian News Channel, where capabilities in producing live programming and streamlining news partnerships were demonstrated. Tess holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Communication in Journalism & Media Studies from the University of Newcastle.
