John Taylor

John Taylor has extensive experience in geospatial and petrotechnical services, currently serving as Manager of Geospatial & Petrotechnical Services at CNOOC International since 2007. Taylor has held various roles at CNOOC, including Geospatial Advisor and Geospatial Services Team Lead. Prior experience includes positions as a GIS Specialist at TERA Environmental Consultants and the Department of Natural Resources Canada, as well as serving as Territorial Representative for Geomatics activities in Nunavut with the Canadian Council on Geomatics. Taylor's educational background includes a Land Information Technology Diploma (GIS) from the Centre of Geographic Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Saint Mary's University. Additionally, Taylor is currently enrolled in the Nexen Ignite Program for leadership training at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
