Liz R. has over 20 years of extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the General Manager of New Ventures and M&A for CNOOC International, overseeing operations in Africa and Europe. With a strong background in evaluating and managing new venture opportunities, Liz is adept at executing transactions and building strategic relationships across the industry. Prior roles include Senior Advisor in Business Development, where complex deal negotiations were successfully completed, and Senior Manager for Development and Production in the U.K. Previously, at Shell, Liz held various positions including Subsurface Lead and Exploration Lead, focusing on diverse exploration and development projects globally. Liz holds a PhD in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from The University of Edinburgh.
