Denys Nikolayev

Denys Nikolayev is an accomplished researcher and expert in micro-/nanotechnologies, photonics, electronics, electromagnetism, and electrical energy, currently serving as an elected member of Section 8 of the National Committee for Scientific Research at CNRS since February 2020 and leading a research group in wireless bioelectronics at the IETR Laboratory. Previously, Denys held positions at EPFL as a Scientist, at imec as a Postdoctoral Fellow, and completed joint PhD studies at Université de Rennes I and the University of West Bohemia, where significant contributions were made to implantable bioelectronics and electromagnetic wave propagation in biological tissues. Denys also has a solid background in project management and IT from experiences at Groupe Caillé and Smarty Media, complemented by advanced degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Telecommunications Technologies.
