Devendra Singh is currently a Doctoral Student at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique since September 2023 and is pursuing a PhD in Biochemistry and Structural Biology at École normale supérieure. As part of the Marie-Curie "RepState" PhD consortium, Devendra participated as a Visiting PhD Student at the University of Oxford and a Visiting Postgraduate Research Student at the University of Bristol in 2025, focusing on DNA repair mechanisms. Prior experiences include a Research Internship at École Polytechnique working on ribosome biogenesis, attendance at a training course on gene regulation at Institut Curie, and a Master's dissertation project on biophysical approaches at Aligarh Muslim University.
