Isabel Chillón

Isabel Chillón, PhD, HDR, is a staff scientist at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of Montpellier (IGMM), part of the CNRS, specializing in RNA biochemistry and biophysics. With over 15 years of experience, Isabel has focused on the structure-function relationships in long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) related to stress response and developmental diseases. Isabel holds a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) and has published multiple articles in prestigious journals. Currently, Isabel aims to advance the understanding of RNA biology and its implications for health and disease while bridging the gap between researchers and patients.
