Luca Lignitto currently serves as a Group Leader at the Marseille Cancer Research Centre (CRCM), a role held since September 2021. Prior to this position, Luca worked at NYU Langone Health from November 2013 to June 2021 as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, where research focused on the implications of KEAP1 and NRF2 mutations in lung cancer metastasis, utilizing a variety of multidisciplinary techniques and securing significant competitive research funding. Luca's previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the University of Naples Federico II from February 2011 to September 2013, where the study centered on the molecular mechanisms influencing Glioblastoma progression, alongside leading successful multi-institutional collaborations that resulted in several highly cited publications. Luca holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology and a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology, both obtained from the University of Naples Federico II.
