Mathieu Giraud has extensive experience in computer science and research, currently serving as Team Leader at Algomus since 2011 and as a CNRS Researcher at CRIStAL, CNRS, Université Lille, and Inria since 2006. Mathieu specializes in computational music analysis and bioinformatics, leading the Algomus computer music group. Previously, Mathieu held a post-doctoral researcher position at Université de Montréal in 2006 and was a PhD student at IRISA, Université de Rennes 1 from 2002 to 2005. Mathieu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Université de Rennes I and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from École normale supérieure de Lyon. In addition, Mathieu is a national board member for FNAUT since May 2022.
